VERT (2023)

VERT is a series of vertical videos, each titled and inspired by a word containing the word vert. The word vert is defined in a dictionary as “green as a heraldic tincture”, coming from verte the French word for green. Generally, however, you are more likely to recognize the term -vert- as a prefix or suffix in English words meaning "turn" with its root in Latin, such as vertical indicating a turning upwards. This is an experimental project designed to explore the possibilities of expression through vertical video in the hope that it will “turn” into something.
