Stay Inside Your Head (2020)

Stay Inside Your Head is a short video about the isolation during this COVID-9 pandemic. I got the inspiration for this work from my own experience of quarantine. Because of having enough time to sleep as well as to meditate, I felt like I was inside my head all the time, and being able to do so was, in a way, excessively comfortable to my introverted and antisocial self. Simultaneously, the "forced" isolation was a sweet excuse to look away from the world's difficult situation.

Therefore, there is a scene where two versions of myself with opposing perspectives; the one facing up is naïve and optimistic while the one facing down is realistic and critical. To present the fuzzy and dreamy state inside my head more effectively and visually intriguing, I chose rather an abstract approach than explanatory.
